So I was looking at a post on the new X-Wing game and he talk about how it cost about 100 dollars for 7 pretty little ships. This made me wonder how the game scales with physical size. I already have X-Wing, Y-Wing, 2 A-Wings, Falcon, Slave 1, Tie Fighter, Tie Advanced, Tie Defender in lego scale. Probably quite a bit bigger but might be interesting at that scale (whole family room).
A whole family room... Or a fecking football pitch!!! :P
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that I think that would be awesome to do? Oh God I'm a geek.
I'll be doing a review of X-wing shortly and I'll be passing my judgement in my usual way. Are you think of getting the game eriochrome buddy?
Maybe I could get the large meeting room down at my local library. I have been thinking about it. I might just run into at the local Target and show it to my daughter. I think the cost vs mini ratio in the starter box really does not get me to excited.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like fun. Sorry but I'd totally be up for that. Beach balls as Death stars and stuff. Awesome!!!
DeleteLego Xwing is a little longer than 13 inches.
ReplyDeleteActually lego has polybag fighters that are only like 1-2 inches in size and only about 3.99 each. I have 1 xwing, 1 tie fighter, and 1 tie interceptor from the death star planet. This would probably keep the scale the same.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... yeah I think that won't be too different. When my crap turns up I'll drop you a line about the size of the mini's, or just drop the details in the review.
