Lowes Now Selling 3D Printers

Just saw this at Lowes while picking up some other stuff.  It is expensive at 1K and the feed material even in white is like 30 dollars a pound.  Claims 100 micron resolution.  That is getting pretty close to mini quality.  To rich for my blood but the future is coming.

  1. It's definitely coming...one thing they need to work on though, is speed. Boy is my 3d printer slow...like days to finish a job slow.

    1. The speed is going to go in the inverse direction of resolution though. Building up something 50 micron spots at a time. Either multiple heads or switching sizes would help. I know their are some commerical ones that use laser images and photo-catalysts to print the whole layer at one time.
