Lego Hobbit: Dol Guldur Ambush
This is the Dol Guldur Ambush set from the Lego Hobbit Line. It is sort of an interesting set as it does not really match anything from the movie. This set can essentially be added to the larger Dol Guldur set to make that one at little bigger.

Lego Hobbit: Mirkwood Elf Army
Another Lego Set to look at from the Hobbit Movies, Mirkwood Elf Army. This Hobbit set is another with very limited match with anything that happened in the movies. I guess it is from when the Orcs are trying to get the dwarves as they float down the river and fight with the elves who have a gate set up at the edge of their domain. That is one of the scenes in the movies that went on to long and turned what could have been 2 good movies into 3 not so good ones.

Lego Hobbit: Lonely Mountain Preview
Lego is previewing the Lonely Mountain set at San Diego Comic Con this week. This set is pretty expensive even as license sets go at $129.99 for 860 or so pieces. You get 5 minifigures, dwarf mine and throne room scenery and Smaug. Smaug is about twice as big as the dragon in the recent castle Dragon Mountain set but unfortunately he is not brick built, instead made with large custom molds. He seems bigger than the Rancor from the Star Wars line and does not look bad but not very Lego like which is a real disappointment.

Lego Hobbit: Barrel Escape
Barrel Escape was a preview set released with the first movie since the scene does not appear until the second movie like the escape from mirkwood spiders. You get 5 minifigures, the adjustable platform surround, and some accessories for the center of the room.

New Lego Hobbit Sets Images
Images of the upcoming Hobbit sets have leaked on the internet. First we have a small set Dol Guldur Ambush which comes with a new Hero and 2 Orcs. I would guess that this should be 20 dollars but Lego pricing for Hobbit stuff runs really high so I would say it probably will be 25-30.

Lego Hobbit: Escape from Mirkwood Spider
Today we look at a Lego Hobbit set from the last Christmas releases, Escape from Mirkwood Spiders. This set is 30 dollars and was called a special preview set since it involved a scene not in the first movie. The first movie ends with the company being dropped off a the edge of the Mirkwood forest so they still need to go in and get captured by the spiders for the elves to come and recapture them. The set comes with 4 minifigures, 2 spiders, a stump, and a twisted tree.
