Painted Models?
Look, I painted two models. These two are for an more formal version of my Dungeon Saga Undead Boss Templates that I used to make the Bosses I have linked on the Dungeon Saga Index. I thought having models painted by me would make them the character cards pop a little more than my unpainted or image borrowed from online versions. They both could use a little more work but are fine for bones models.

Dungeon Saga Boss: Lich Lord Master Necromancer
The Lich Lord is natural progression of the master necromancer into unlife. He is able to control a vast range of undead and also commands impressive magical attacks. He is weak in combat so heroes will need to fight through his minions to get into contact with him.

Dungeon Saga Boss: King of the Dead
Once the mightiest King in the lands of Mantica, this lord would not let death separate him from his power. Now he controls a horde of undead creeping across the land but if it comes to it he truly is a terror on his own in combat. The King of the Dead is extremely tough to wound and will probably require Epic heroes with an array of skills to beat in combat but not all quests require you to beat the villian. Sometimes you just have to get past him to be successful.

Dungeon Saga Boss: Bone Giant
Rarely does a necromancer have the power to raise a giant's remains to the unlife but when they do it is an incredibly dangerous weapon to use against his enemies. A band of heroes will need a cunning plan if confronted with a Bone Giant.

The Hollow
Once a master Sorcerer, the Hollow is now barely a shadow. By the time many see him, they are in heart of his power suffering from his sorcery. Those that survive long enough to attack back often find their blades almost slipping through him as he disappears only to appear again a few feet away laughing at their pitiful struggles.

Naratekh Mummified Sword Master
Once the sword master to a mighty king, Naratekh followed his master in death when he failed to defend him from an unknown assassin. Why he walks the crypts of Mantica still is unknown. Maybe his failure fuels his unlife or he is cursed to defend the graves of those he failed to protect in life. Very dangerous at close quarters, wise heroes will avoid contact if possible.

The Shadow Hunter: Dungeon Saga Undead Boss
The Shadow Hunter is hunting for souls. It especially craves those of spell casters. Some scholars believe that this tortured soul was once a honorable Witch Hunter whose continued existence is the result of a curse during his final failed mission. Whether the Shadow Hunter consumes the captured souls of those he slays, or takes them to a higher power is a mystery to even the most learned men of Mantica.

Dungeon Saga: Flesh Golem Boss
Occasionally a Necromancer with create a Flesh Golem to act as some additional muscle. More intelligent than Zombies, they can be given basic commands and operate at great distances without oversight. This frees up the Necromancer's concentration to control more of the lesser minions.

Albress Necromantic Apprentice
After years as a failed Court Magician, Albress felt his mortality creeping up on him. Finally willing to make deals with Darker Powers, Albress pledged his services to a master of Necromancy for a chance at learning magic to extend his own existence. While no one would consider Albress dangerous, his spells allow him to get a little more out of his masters minions.

Dread Knight
Dread Knights are an incredibly dangerous undead warrior. Formidable in both attack and defense lone heroes are advised to give them a wide berth and wait for help.
This is another Boss for Dungeon Saga for use in Uncharted Dungeons that I created. He can supplement Dead Eye to provide new adventures for your heroes. He is based on my Revenant Template except I did not apply the +1 Armor as I thought that would make him to tough in this case for lower level heroes.

Dead Eye: Revenant Ranger
Rumors persist in the area of a foul undead archer who stalks the crypts of Mantica with a band of unmerry former men. His hatred for the living leads him to slay any who come near but a few have managed to escape. These lucky souls have named him Dead Eye. Anyone who knows his true name have long since turned to dust.
So here is my first attempt at making a new Bosses for Dungeon Saga. This Bosses is designed for use in the Uncharted Dungeons where you need to make your own Bosses but they fail to give you any templates for the Undead. People are also very interested in combining Invisible Overlord and Uncharted Dungeons so I have tried to create a Boss that would not stress the IO rules with lots of special choices.
For Undead it is make the character sort of normally The first template I am trying is Revenant:
Revenant Boss:
-1 Move, +1 Armor, Skeletal(Ignores first hit from any attack).

Problem with Building Big Miniatures
I was trying to get some models assembled that I had been storing a little while. Ofcourse a problem shows up when you attach the wings and stuff. The models no longer fit in the little boxes you had them stored in. Most of the other bones got back into their boxes but these guys were all to big. It is mainly the wings. Still a couple more of the really big bones stuff to get assembled.
Now smart people know that you really should paint stuff like this in parts and then assemble them but I am being realistic that this stuff will probably never be painted. If it is assembled it might get used by someone for something though. While I was assembling these guys my kids were talking all the other bones and dumping them out of their sorted boxes, building houses/walls out of the boxes, and having the bones stand on the walls.
Here are two closer shots of Narthrax.

Open Question to Reaper
So I was looking at this photo and something crossed my mind. If Bones are such a good replacement for metal, why are you using the metal versions for this image for the stretch goal. All of these models are already available in Bones(I know I have them and looked at them yesterday) so a proper representation of the model is available unlike most of the other models.
Bones can make very good models but there is a noticeable drop in the details so where possible you should probably show what you are actually selling.

Reaper Bones II: Pathfinder and Demons
I got my second Bones Kickstarter a little while ago now but never got around to posting some of the pictures. Certain pieces are still in the gift closet waiting for my summer birthday but I have the basic set. The Bones of this expansion are similar to the first kickstarter. The material limitation in producing straight weapons is still very apparent but they did do a better job of making sure the faces transferred properly from the metal versions. Details are softer than the metal version but since they usually retail for like 1/3rd the price of reaper metal(and like 1/9th the price of GW singles now) they make good options for filling in monsters and such for roleplaying games or other things that are more about the game than about the miniatures.

Bones II Kickstarter Inbound
My Reaper Bones II Kickstarter stuff has shipped out to me. Since they missed the Christmas window this stuff is going to have to sit in the Gift Closet for a while, but I will go through it for a quality check so I plan on getting some pictures then.

Reaper Bones II Kickstarter Finally Moving to Delivery
After about a 5 month delay, Reaper has reported that they now have all the Bones II kickstarter models on hand and will now start processing the shipments by wave. Originally they proposed each wave taking about 2 weeks to ship but now project they can do them in a few days. Hopefully most people will see the models by some time in March so we can again express our disappointment in those models that failed to be transferred to Bones well while we also note the value found in many of the models.

Reaper Shows Off New Retail Packages for Big Bones
Reaper sent out their latest update for the second Bones kickstarter which had images of the packaging for the two really big bones kits. The have vacuum formed plastic inserts for holding the parts which is a great idea for these items. Bones are know to have issues with bending so this should hopefully limit that for the shipping and waiting to use times.
These are both big kits as you can see the tiny blue Knight Forscale in front of the boxes. I ordered both these kits so I will see how they turned out sometime in the future. The shipping has still not started and all of the production has not been completed so Christmas is looking like a stretch.

Reaper Announces Bones II Kickstarter will Miss Initial Shipment Date
Reaper in their lastest kickstarter update let everyone know that they will not be shipping on time again. It appears that this time they decided to actually check there production samples to prevent the appearance of any more alien cowgirls and children. Some failed the inspections so the molds will have to be redone. I was on reaper a lot about this before backing the second kickstarter and am glad that they are trying to maintain the model quality better this time even if it slows down delivery. The models are supposed to be my christmas present so hopefully they will still make it.
I think I had a feeling like this was going to happen. I hardly every comment on the kickstarter updates but about a month ago I was asking why we were not see more production sample since they were supposed to be shipping so soon.

Reaper Shows a Pile of Bones II Samples
Reaper finally showed off some production samples in their most recent Kickstarter Update for the Bones II kickstarter. Hopefully they have left themselves time to actually inspect the samples to prevent the clearly bad molds from the first kickstarter from reoccuring.

That is a big hunk of Plastic
Reaper showed off this as a Kickstarter Stretch Goal for their current bones kickstarter. I am estimating that it is about 7.5 inches tall which makes it imbetween a Riptide and Wraithknight but with similar width across the arms. Not sure if they will make it to this as it requires like 300K on the last day but it is certainly large.
